We had a chance to see the new Pentax RS1000 ($150) digital camera up close at the recent PDN PhotoPlus Expo at the Javits Center in NYC. The 14.1-megapixel RS1000 is a pocket-size camera (0.8 inches thick) with 4x optical zoom (28 mm to 110 mm) and a 3-inch LCD (230k dots). As for its looks - that's up to you.
